At its core, the SCL-3 features dual 5-¼" (130mm) cast-frame aluminum matrix cone woofers, paired with a D2-derived 1" (25mm) annular ring compression driver utilizing a Teonex® diaphragm. This driver is integrated with JBL’s patented High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) horn geometry, delivering remarkable clarity, precision imaging, and wide dynamic range across the listening area. The result is reference-quality sound that rivals even the most advanced floorstanding loudspeakers.

The versatile design of the SCL-3 allows for flexible installation in any orientation, making it ideal as a left, center, or right channel, as well as a side or rear surround, or ceiling-mounted for overhead Dolby Atmos and immersive audio systems.
